Thanksgiving Weekend Part Three

Nickie and Tyler went back to his condo after they sent John, Beth, Hunter off. they sat on the porch watching the ocean waves.Nickie moved closer to Tyler since the cold wind was blowing.

Tyler looked at Nickie,"So that was tense this morning between John and Richard wasn't it?"

"Yes, neither of them trust the other one. Did you see Beth's face? She looked tired and she whispered to me this morning asking if I thought it may have been someone out for me?"

Tyler responded, "really? I hadn't thought about that angle."

"I did, but it doesn't fit. Bailey and Chris are not that mad at me. I just wonder if John is involved. When I first investigated him I was really impressed, so much so that I basically pushed him on Scarlett. I wonder why she was hesitant? "Nickie faded into memory. Her phone rang, both her and Tyler jumped. She put it on speaker phone.

" Hi, sweetie. Iceland is beautiful. The sky is clear with a few black clouds and blue skies behind them. When are you coming?"

"Hi, there handsome, I should be there by midweek. Are the polar bears in their mating season?

"Seems to be the season. But there seems to have been a few up roars from them lately. Well, need to get back to work, we will go skiing when you get here."

"See you soon, bye."

"Well, that is interesting but you know what from what I heard you will be leaving me this week. So let's make some dinner and enjoy are evening together. I like John and Beth but we can't help them anymore tonight."

Nickie's eyes lit up and she nodded. She loved cooking with Tyler. The had Loin of Pork roasted with Balsamic vinegar, rosemary, red onion and red wine, with lemon roasted potatoes and garlic braised kale. She loved being the kitchen with him. After
dinner they curled up by the fire. Nickie woke up next to Tyler he had fallen asleep also. She began stroking his face softly, thinking about lucky she was tonight. He began moving around as his lips caressed his neck. he rolled her on her back.
