Beth couldn't believe that she was going back to the lighthouse for New Year's eve she was so excited to see Nicki and relax. The plane flight seemed like it was taking forever. Finally she arrived at the lighthouse.

"Nicki," she yelled up the stairs.
"What's up," came a voice behind her.
Beth jumped and turned around. Nicki was laughing putting the wood in the bin. They hugged.

"You look so good," Beth exclaimed. "I can't believe you are the mother of twins.
"Thanks," Nicki said. "But they twins are four now so I had time to wear off the baby fat."
"Oh my goodness," Beth said. " It has been that long since we went on a trip?"
"Yes, my dear that long," Nicki said pouring a couple drinks. "Still like your scotch on the rocks?"
"Yes, I do,' Beth said. "So why did you want to spend New Years here?"
"Tyler has been playing with his cream puff bunnies, as I call them to much lately and I wanted to go have some fun myself," she said. "Did John mind you leaving during the holidays?"
"No, as a matter of fact he was quite happy," Beth replied. "He has a young thing bothering him at work lately and I think he wants the chance to check her out."
"Well, it seems like this was a good idea then," Nicki said. "Now just hope we get some action tonight. It would really suck if we didn't." She laughed.
"Well, let's get ready and not let the men wait," Beth laughed.
 Nicki came down in a stunning black short dress with a matching black coat.
Beth said, "you look stunning."
"That is what I was aiming for," Nicki said. "You look great in that outfit."
Beth laughed and took off the coat underneath she had a dazzling hunter green dress that was see through down the sides. "Does this look better?"
Nicki said, "You are getting sluttier by the year. Let's get going."

The restaurant seemed a little dead and both seemed to sigh at the same time.
Beth said, "Let's go to the bar first."
Nicki agreed.
"Let's split up, I see someone I want to meet," Beth said.
"I do to," Nicki said.

Nicki sat by a dark-headed man. "Do you mind if I sit here," she asked.
In a British accent he said, "No, not at all."
"My name is Nicki," she said.
"Mine is Tom," he said.
"Nice to meet you, " she said.
The waiter came up and inquired what she would like and she asked for a Jagerbomb.
"Do you want Jagermeister or red bull," asked the bartender.
"Jagermeister," she said.
"That sounds good," Tom said. "Give me one too."
Nicki and Tom began to chat and enjoy their drinks.
Meanwhile Beth was trying to get to the man she wanted to meet but he seemed to have people around him. She took off her coat and sat at a table where he could see her. She noticed he had seen her. He made his way to her.
"I don't think we have met before," he said. "or at least in that dress. My name is George."
Beth smiled. "I am Beth she said.
The went one with both women drinking and enjoying their partners.
When  the ball dropped Beth saw a glimpse of Nicki kissing a handsome man, George grabbed her at that moment and kissed her passionately.
Nicki and Tom made their way over to them.
Nicki said, " If you don't mind we will be using the lighthouse tonight.'
Beth smiled and handed her the key. Then she whispered in George's ear," Guess I need a place to stay tonight."
He smiled. "I have a room here in the lodge that you can stay in. But I am not sure you will get much sleep."
The women wished each other a Happy New Year and parted ways.
George took Beth by the hand and led her to the room. He began rubbing his hands down the sides of the dress. He unzipped the back of the dress and Beth let it fall to the ground. He began kissing her from her neck to her thighs. Then she had to steady herself against the wall as he made his way back up. John hadn't been this attentive to her needs lately.
Meanwhile, Nicki was entering the door to the lighthouse with her handsome young man. He was talking to her as she picked up a phone.
"I have always wanted to stay in a lighthouse," he said. "Is that your husband he said peering over her shoulder."
"No," she said, "my friends."
"He said that is cruel I think taking a picture of yourself banging someone,"
"Yes,: she said. She read the text. "Don't need to come back too soon, I am banging my sweet little assistant and she is much better than you ever were." " I think his assistant took and sent that text."
"Are you going to leave it," he asked.
"Yes," she said. She laid the phone down and said now let's make sure we don't take any pictures for our spouses.
"Right," he said.
He grabbed Nicki and began kissing her then he worked his way down her neck. She started walking backward toward the stairwell. He stopped while they climbed to the room. When he got to the room he didn't take his time getting her clothes off her. Nicki helped him get his clothes off. She sat on the side of the bed and he stood in front of her. "Let's go to Barbados for Valentines," Beth said.
"Yes," Nicki said. "I think we should get out more."

The Family Trip from March

Hunter was so excited that he woke Beth and John at 5:00 in the morning. "Mom, Dad, let's go!" said Hunter.
John sat up in bed, "Hunter, are you okay?"
"Yes, dad," he said jumping on the bed, "Today we leave for the train museum!"
Beth turned over, "What is going on?"
"Mom," he asked, "When do we leave?"
"At nine,Hunter. We have time,"she said yawning. "Why don't you go down to the kitchen and make yourself some cereal. Stay real quiet until everyone gets up."
"Oh, okay," he said glumly.
"Hunter," Beth continued, "the plane will not take off any earlier than we scheduled the pilot."
Hunter ran off smiling. John rolled over looking at his wife and said, "He is a lot like his mother."
Beth putting her arms around his neck pulled him closer to kiss him. By nine they were all in the plane waiting to take off, Jackie, Hunter, Tim, Sean, Beth and John.
Hunter fell asleep in the first thirty minutes which made the flight easier for the rest of the tired adults. John, Tim and Sean went over the security plans of the hotel and the vacation schedule. Sean had been at the scene when Beth was attacked, so he knew the area and what they were facing.

The bed and breakfast that John had chosen was perfect. It was a three level with the upper level being the most secured. The outside had a porch around the house and was secluded from the street but still close to town. The bedrooms were situated where Hunter's room was between Jackie's and Beth's/John's. Tim and Sean had rooms by the doorway to the stairs. Hunter was so excited that he was running around the center seating area. As soon as they were settled in their rooms, had a small lunch, it was time to go to the Choo Choo Barn in Strasburg. It was amazing the miniature towns and trains. John and Hunter were enthralled. It was good that it closed by 5:00 p.m.or they would have made them stay all night. The bed/breakfast had a wonderful homemade dinner. Everyone enjoyed talking to the other guests. John and Beth took their wine up to the seating area to monitor Hunter's bath and bedtime. He was exhausted. Tim, Sean, and Jackie were enjoying some beer on the porch. Once Hunter was tucked in, and Tim had come up to watch the area. John and Beth moved to their bedroom. Beth came out of the bathroom in a thin white cotton night gown. John was admiring his wife's slender body outlined under the gown. She looked at him and smiled. She didn't have it on for very long, he lifted it over her head then placed her on the bed. He sat back on his legs and she straddled him, lowering herself on him. They kissed and became as one, slowly, gently, fulfilling.

A forgotten talk between John and Beth

Well, we are in the safe house. Luckily, someone is also here to help with Hunter. John and I spoke frankly last night when we got here. I was still a little tired and sore but I wanted to know. So he sat on the steps up to the bed area with his head in his hands. I just had to ask. "John, are you apart of this? Did you try to have me killed?" No answer. So I went and stood in front of him and asked again. This time he looked up at me and said, " When we fought after the Brazil situation. I remember staring out at the pond and saying to no one. I wish she was dead. But Beth it was heat of the moment anger. I didn't mean it. I wouldn't have said it if I had known that someone was listening. He continued, You had just told me that if I ever talked or saw her again that you would take Hunter from me. What do you think I was feeling?" " I know I shouldn't have used him to do that but I was so upset that you were still seeing her. John from the first you had told me that you were faithful to me. You knew I was going on trips with Jackie and Rosemary and that those trips included being with men. I didn't lie to you. You lied to me. I am sorry that I used Hunter and no I won't stop you from seeing him. But if you leave me for her, it will be under court supervision and never overnight." He pulled me close and said, "Beth, I won't leave you for her. I haven't been with her since before the Brazil incident. I know I disappeared this summer but I was in Ireland. He looked sheepishly at me. I went to our house in Ireland and spent some time there. I wasn't with anyone. Don't worry the nanny wasn't there either." "What about the Scotland trip. Where were you for two days?" "I met up with Francesca, but nothing happened. I had Hunter. I wouldn't do that with my son around." He looked a little upset by that thought.

The weekend Get Away

Nickie laid back on the sailboat, with her eyes closed she could started daydreaming of Bailey’s lips kissing her neck working his way down. Mmm, she slightly moaned. Then she felt his lips touching her neck. She kept her eyes closed hoping this was not still her daydream.
“We will be reaching the lighthouse by dinner time. This is our last day on the boat. I thought we might as well enjoy ourselves,” he said. He began kissing where he stopped.
Nickie felt the warmth of the sun on her. She thought how Beth would tease her if she had sunburn in tender areas. He had worked his way down. Nickie was lost in the moment.
It was kind of sad seeing the lighthouse but also nice. It had been a long time since she had been there. She did a double take while looking at the lighthouse.
Bailey asked, “What are you looking at?”
“I thought I saw someone up at the main gallery (balcony),” she said.
“No, one is supposed to be there right?” he asked.
“Not , that I know of. But I haven’t talked to Beth since I left on this trip, “ she said.
They headed up to the light house carrying everything valuable and their clothing. Bailey joked, “ Should I ask John to build an elevator or one of those tram rides like the amusement parks?”
Nickie said, “ Would be nice about now.” She was glad as they entered the kitchen and dropped her stuff. She stopped looking at the kitchen table.
Beth jumped up from the table.
Bailey ran into the back of Nickie. “What the f….?” The word was lost in the air as he looked over Nickie’s shoulder at the table.
Nickie and Bailey stood quietly staring at the distinguish silver haired man.
“Let me help you with that,” said Richard.
Nickie’s first thought was the twins, then Beth and Hunter. “What is going on here?”
Richard piped up, “ I called Beth and asked her if she wanted to get a way for the week end. She said yes and here we are.”
Nickie looked at Beth but she had turned her head.
Beth said, “ There is stew on the burner and biscuits in the warmer. We have eaten already. We will leave you tow to get settled.”
Richard took his cue by that and picked up the wine bottle and glasses from the table. They left on their walk. Nickie noticed Beth had a white shawl on and something tucked under her arm. Nickie looked back at Bailey. “They won’t be back for awhile. I will put our clothes in the room if you could put the food in the fridge.”
Bailey came in the room. “ I turned the stew down to simmer. I thought a real shower would be nice before dinner,” he said.
Before Nickie could look up to answer she saw his bare butt going through the bathroom door. She stood there hanging up clothes when she realized she could join him.
He smiled. “Took you long enough,” he said.
“Hey, give me a break. I have two little 20 month old girls following me around at home. It took me a moment to remember I was here to have fun,” she said. Then she took the scrubby and worked herself down his chest. It was a nice long shower. Nickie almost wanted to take a nap afterward. Then she remembered the stew simmering and hurried to get dressed. Bailey was just entering the room when she finished dressing. He had a tray with stew , biscuits, jam, and beer.
“This is delicious,” Bailey said with a mouthful of biscuit.
“Yep, she grew up Amish. Didn’t you know,” she asked.
“Really? Why did she leave,” he asked.
“Her first husband was murdered and the family shunned her after the trial. That is where she met John,” Nickie said.
“Oh, I remember something about that,” he said. “Do you think she made this jam too?”
“Oh, I am sure of it,” laughed Nickie.
They cleaned up the dishes and the kitchen. They were beat with the sun and the sex today, they were ready for bed.
Meanwhile, Beth waited for Richard to catch up. She loved squishing the sand between her toes, the wind against her face, and the smell of the ocean. Then she felt his breath against her neck, his warm lips caressing her. She could melt into his arms right here. They continued walking farther up near the rocks where they wouldn’t be seen by the restaurant or the lighthouse. Beth remembered that from Nickie talking about the attack that one winter. She took the wine and glasses from her as he grabbed the blanket and spread it on the sand. Richard poured them some wine and they sipped on it watching the waves. He laid his head down on her lap. She began playing with his hair.
“I was surprised to see your name show up on my phone last night,” he said.
She smiled. “ I just needed to see an old friend,” she said.
“Is that all,” he asked.
She played with his hair. “Let’s leave it at that for now, please,” she said.
He could see the tears welling up in her eyes. He dropped the subject.
She leaned down and kissed him on his forehead. He took the cue and kissed her. A long intense kiss, he could tell by her heart beating fast what she was wanting. He remembered that reaction on the beach a few years ago. He moved to the blanket and took her hand pulling her on top of him. Then he rolled her over, kissing her. If she only knew one person was watching far away on the main gallery, two naked bodies in the moonlight. She lay next to him looking up to the sky, admiring the bright shining stars, she was beginning to feel alive again. He was a part of her soul that had been grieving, now was filling up again. They had some more wine and then dressed. She walked slowly back to the lighthouse with him. Her hair was blowing lightly in the wind, and she felt his gaze. He kissed her. Oh, how she felt alive again.
“You call me before you leave okay,” he said. “If you want to see me again, I will come over. All you have to do is call me.”
“I know,” she said. “I will call before I leave. I promise.”
She was relieved that Nickie and Bailey were in their room. She was also glad that they had cleaned up. She washed the wine glasses and turned to go to bed. She stopped in mid turn.
“Are you feeling better,” John asked.

March 2010 Train Trip

Hunter bounced on the bed. "Mom, Dad get up!"
John woke up, "Hunter, are you alright?"
"Yes, but isn't it time to leave for the plane?"
John looked at the clock, "Hunter, it is four thirty in the morning! The plane doesn't leave until nine."
Beth stirred, "Hunter not until the big hand is on the six and the little hand is on the eight will we leave for the plane. Now go down and watch some television until I can get up."
"Okay, mommy," said Hunter and he jumped off the bed and they could hear him jumping on each step down the stairs.
Beth rolled over looking John. "Good morning."
He moved closer under the covers. She had very little on. "I think Hunter will have to wait for us a little while longer."
She smiled. "I was hoping you would say that, as she reached up to kiss him."
Beth was first down the stairs. Hunter was eating cereal and watching cartoons. Finally, everyone was ready to leave. Kathy, was ready to leave and had all of Hunter's things with her as well as her own. Everyone was loaded and they were out the door at 8:30 a.m.
Hunter fell asleep in the first thirty minutes of the flight which made it easier for the tired adults to rest.
Security met them at the airport. Kathy's eyebrow raised. Beth saw the smile and thought Kathy must have liked what she saw.
The place that John had picked was gorgeous. Three story colonial house, with wrap around porch. It was secluded from the road but not far from town. The top floor had enough room for all of them. Hunter's room was between Kathy's and John/Beth's room. The security team rooms were near the hallway.
The itinerary was set today with only one thing. The train museum this afternoon. Then they would ride the train tomorrow and Hershey Park the next day.
They went to the Choo Choo Barn in Strasburg,PA. John seemed to be more of a kid than Hunter. Actually, even the security guards,Tim and Sean were having fun. Kathy and Beth went around the museum taking pictures of the boys and the trains. It was a wonderful little world of trains. Dinner that evening at the bed and breakfast was delicious. They were all tired from the plane flight and ready for bed. Hunter was the first to sleep.

Next day
The conductor pointed out the area where the Witness movie had been shot as they rounded the turn. John looked at Beth. She didn't look. He knew what she was thinking. He just squeezed her hand. Kathy was trying to look and started talking about the movie. Beth began to get paler as Kathy talked, remembering her own night. "Beth," Kathy asked "Are you okay?"
"I just feel a little nauseated. I'll be fine," Beth said.
John put his arm around her and pulled her close. He made eye contact with Sean.
Sean nodded. "So Kathy, what do you say we try to see if this place has a good bar tonight?"
Kathy said, "Sure." She turned to Sean and began talking about tonight.
Beth looked at John and smiled.
Hunter had not noticed anything. He had been glued to the window watching everything. He was really excited when the lunch was served. Their little family sat at one table the others were dispersed in the car. Beth was very glad that Hunter didn't know her past. He loved her the way she was.
The rest of the afternoon was very nice. Hunter and John had so much fun going through all the trains back in the yard. Sean was on the run with them.
Kathy and Beth were in the company of Jason, Andre, and Tim. It was a fun-filled afternoon until they were leaving. A horse and buggy went by. Hunter pointed . "Look, daddy at those horses. They are big."
There was and older woman looking out. Beth and her eyes met. The woman gave a nod and turned away. Tears welled up in Beth's eyes. John steadied her.
Beth said in a soft voice, "Thank you for steadying me. I am able to stand now. Thank you."
There was something in her tone, that made Kathy stare. Sean grabbed Hunter up instinctively. John brought her close. she bowed her head and they quickly walked to the cars. Nothing was said on the ride back to the Inn. They went in circles to make sure no one was following them. They hurried up the flight of stairs. John took her to their room,shut the door. "Beth, who did you see?"
"Daniel's mother. She nodded at me. I think she saw Hunter. She was giving her approval,"she said,with tears rolling down her face.
John pulled her close and she melted in his arms. It was a few minutes before they moved apart. He slowly sat her on the end of the bed, to go get her some water. He stopped and told Sean. "She saw Daniel's mother. I don't think there will be a problem." He went to get her some water.
Kathy looked at Sean, "Who is Daniel?"
Sean said, "Her first husband."
Kathy decided she would find out later because from his tone it didn't look like she would learn anymore from him. That night Sean and Kathy went out after dinner to find a local bar. John, Beth and the other security went and sat on the porch. Hunter was chasing lightening bugs with a jar, the owner had given him.

Hershey Park

The day was muggy and fun. Hunter rode on all the rides that he was allowed to go on. Kathy and Sean were struggling with their hangovers. But as the day went on seemed to start enjoying the rides. Of course, at the end of the day they just had to go to the Hershey store and pick up all their favorite candies that wasn't available to them back home. It was a good thing they had several security officers to help them carry everything!

Barbados 17

This time when Beth saw Nickie on the plane she was surprised. Nickie smiled, "Yes, I am getting big fast with two little ones inside. I told Morgan this morning that I was pregnant, not his child, and yes I can still have sex. He laughed and said he was up for it."
"Yeah, but he has not seen you yet," Beth said laughing. "No, he will enjoy the challenge. We are going to have so much fun. I cannot wait to get to the beach and to see Eduardo."
"I bet you can't wait. How was John, before you left?"
"He was good, looking forward to some time alone with Hunter. He said I was wearing him out," she said with a smile. We have only been back for a week since the trip to Pennsylvania."
"How was that? Any problems with the people in the area?"
"There were a few encounters, but nothing John had not planned for. Hunter had so much fun. We will go back in a couple of years when he is older."
The rest of the flight they bantered back and forth. Nickie wanted to know what position she had picked when she won. She had seen the blog. Beth was being closed lip on that one.
The hotel that Eduardo had picked was wonderful. It is a small hotel with much privacy Cobbler's Cove Hotel. We both had an ocean view suite. This hotel was picked because of the water sports available. There was on on site dining. Morgan made sure Nickie had some food as soon as we arrived at the hotel. Eduardo made sure Beth had an ice cold drink and a shower to relax her. She stood there leaning against him in the shower,
breathing heavily, wanting him, he placed her back against the wall lifting her up in position to relieve the pent up frustration she was feeling. She wrapped her legs around him and closed her eyes letting all the frustration of the day leave, he kissed her as he gently lowered her back down. She lovingly scrubbed his back, kissing his shoulders, she stood close to him. She was beginning to really like sex in the shower. Chris, John, and Eduardo was changing her mind. She toweled off and went to lay in the bed to wait for him. There was a knock on the door. She grabbed her robe and it was Nickie and Morgan. Nickie laughed, "I see that we were interrupting." But they walked in anyway. Eduardo was dressed in shorts and a shirt came into the room. Beth went and put on her clothes. "Sorry," looking at Nickie, "I just had to have a shower and relax before seeing anyone."
"Nickie just laughed at her, "Sorry, but we ate and relaxed, in the same amount of time. I guess you are slow."
"Ouch," Beth responded, "Thorough, I must say. So what brings you two here?"
Morgan said, "We thought, we would go on a cocktail cruise."
Eduardo said, "that sounds good, when do we need to leave?"
"In ten minutes," Morgan told him.
"Okay, we will be down," Beth said.
"Sorry, you two need to leave with us," Nickie said smiling.
Beth ran to finish dressing and Eduardo went to get his shoes. They left with them. Beth whispered to Eduardo, "We are not finished yet!"
He responded back, "I aim to please. I will be ready."
"Your aim was perfect, I just want more."
He smiled. The cocktail cruise was fun. Nickie enjoyed all of her virgin drinks, while the others had their cocktails. There was a noise coming from Beth's purse. She excused herself, "Hi, honey, I am sorry I didn't call when I arrived. Yes, I took a shower and was relaxing when Nickie came to get me for a cocktail cruise. We are having fun. How is Hunter? Good, I miss you too. Love you." Beth put the phone back in her purse. She looked out at Eduardo, what a handsome man, brown wavy hair, clear green eyes, tanned body. But her heart was still with the brown hair, brown eyed, man back home and that was where it was going to stay. But her body was here and she would was going to enjoy every minute. She went back to enjoy the company. The three course meal was almost ready.
"Everything alright at home?"
"Yes, I forgot to call when I arrived," she said smiling.
The men left to check on dinner. Nickie leaned over, "Are you having fun? Does it ever get to you what you are doing?"
Beth looked at her wondering, "You are seeing now how it is different to do these trips when you have someone you love at home?"
Nickie nodded.
"I love John, I love my life back there. But I need a break, a moment where I can enjoy someone else's company that does not know my past or care to know it. If he begins asking about my life. It will be over. After you have had the babies awhile you may or may not want to do this anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if Bambi would want to join us after her baby or screwing with her neighbor might be enough."
"I hope it is," Nickie said.
Beth looked over at her in surprise. But she could not say anything since the men were back.
"Dinner will be served in a few minutes,"Morgan told them.
"Good, I am starving," Nickie said.
Beth laughed, "At least you have eaten since we arrived."
"I worked it off already," Nickie retorted.
The rest of the evening they chatted, ate, watched the night lights, and drank. Beth was glad to get back to dry land. They said there good nights and headed to their suites. Eduardo did not disappoint his lady friend tonight. Morgan was enjoying the challenge of making love to a round tummy, Nickie. She sat on top laughing from Morgan's comments, "My more than your stomach has gotten bigger." Nickie knew it was not a rude remark, it was just that her top had grown since Jamaica. She rubbed her hands up his chest and they enjoyed the remainder of the evening.
When they woke up the one thing Beth made sure of on these trips that she did not wake up in their arms only next to them. She went into the bathroom to brush her teeth, Eduardo came up behind her and started kissing the nape of her neck, while his hands caressed her front. She dropped her toothbrush in the sink and laid back against his chest. What a way to wake up in the morning!
Nickie woke up to breakfast in bed. Morgan knew that she needed food to keep her energy up. This was a new experience for her, so much drive, so much energy, and so big. She did not know why but she was wondering why John cheated on her during the pregnancy. What a weird thought now. She finished her meal, Morgan removed the trays, and took care of his new found lover. They hardly saw the other two for the rest of the week. On Friday Beth stopped by their table at dinner. "Hi, thought I should let you know the plane will be ready on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. We need to be there at 10:30 a.m."
Nickie looked up, "Sounds good I will meet you in the lobby at 10:00 a.m. then. Are you having fun?"
"Oh, yes, I will tell you everything on the plane. Have to go. We are going for a walk." Beth ran off into the darkness. Nickie thought it was strange that Eduardo was not with her. Then he showed up, "Where did she go?"
Nickie pointed out the door. Eduardo said thanks and went on. Morgan stood up and went out the door just to make sure they were together. He could hear Beth giggling, "Eduardo, you naughty boy." He went back to the table. "They are together, do not worry."
Sunday they met in the lobby. Eduardo gave Beth a long passionate kiss. Morgan held on tight to Nickie from behind. He told her he wanted to see her again before the babies, even if he had to come to her restaurant as a patron. She smiled with tears in her eyes. I will call you later. We will meet again soon. Beth told Eduardo that she would contact him soon about a trip or a weekend. Then the women entered the car that took them to the plane.
Once they were settled, Nickie said, "Okay, tell me what happened between the two of you?"
"The usual, site seeing, clubbing, sex and dining, I got a something done too," Beth said teasingly.
"What and, where?" Looking at her ears and face.
"I am not telling but it was after too many rum and cokes. I sure hope John likes it."
"Beth, you naughty girl!" Nickie exclaimed.
"We went hiking the Welchman Hall Gulley, that place was beautiful. We had some fun in the trees," Beth smiled. She sighed, "He is so good looking, great conversation and great in bed, I am going to miss him."
"So you like him," asked Nickie.
"Yes, I do," said Beth.

Valentine's Weekend....

Thursday--- John told Beth at breakfast that they would be leaving at noon from the airport, that the weather will be cold so pack warm items. The last couple of weeks with Hunter and organizing the house Beth had forgotten that it was time to go to visit Nickie and Tyler. So she was excited when she packed for the weekend. He told her that he would pick her up at 11:30 a.m. to go to the airport. She spent the morning packing and playing with Hunter. They kissed him good bye and headed off.

They arrived a few hours later at the cabin. It was a quaint cabin. It was almost a one room cabin. The little kitchen area on one side of the room, a living area, and a large feather bed with a big fire pit in the middle to heat the room. The bathroom was huge. It was almost dinner time and they put on their coats to walk to the restaurant, the snow was on the put the path was clear. John and Beth were not the only ones going to the restaurant tonight. It seems several had the same idea to start the Valentine's weekend early.

Nickie was greeting the visitors and directing them to the bar or the dining area. When she saw the Beth and John she let out a squeak of excitement. She gave Beth a big hug and a quick one for John. Then she showed them to a small table that was out of the way and private. She handed them the menu and said, "I will be back later when I can, and pick the chef's special."

John moved his chair closer to his wife. Nickie had looked back before walking away she the way he looked at Beth, she knew he was in love with his wife. He began nibbling on her ear. She closed her eyes and had a hard time concentrating that they were in public. She opened her eyes, "Are you hungry," she asked. he was looking very intensely at her and moved into kiss her.
"I love you," he said quietly.
She kissed him again, "I love you too."
The waiter cleared his throat. John said, "Bring us two Chef's specials and a bottle of wine that would go with it."
The waiter was back with the wine... they sat kissing and whispering too each other. Beth could not wait until she was back in that feather bed with her husband. The food was delicious Beth and John had Beef Bourguignon with Apple Tarte Tatin with Red Wine Caramel and Fresh Thyme for dessert. Nickie came during the dessert and they chatted about the weekend. Tyler and Nickie were going to be available tomorrow afternoon to show them around the area. Tyler came out and they had a night cap with them. They agreed that tomorrow they would meet at noon. John took Beth's hand and they walked by the lit path back to the cabin. Beth went and was dressed in a red lace teddy. She came out and climbed on top of the bed. John was making sure the fire was still going and turned around to see her. He smiled at her. He went to his side of the bed and leaned down in his carry-on. He pulled out a box and he climbed on the bed with his wife. Beth was surprised as he pulled the necklace. He put the necklace around her neck. She looked down it was a journey necklace with round emerald and diamond in graduated sizes. She looked down and said, "Maybe I am too dressed for this, as she allowed him to take off the teddy, for the rest of the night she only wore her new necklace. John was very happy with the way it looked on her.
The next day Nickie, Tyler, John and Beth met up for to be shown around town. They went snowmobiling and had so much fun. A snowball fight all alone on the mountain top no one else to play with them.. John had so much fun tackling Beth to the ground and rubbing snow down her shirt. After wards they went to a diner that Tyler is impressed with. He also likes that he does not have to prepare it. Nickie and Tyler seemed very happy. Nickie told how they were decorating the babies room. They had so much fun and talked about going to Switzerland in the middle of May for a few weeks. They would stay at Nickie's ranch and invited John and Beth to join them. They accepted. Nickie and Beth would fly out first then the boys would come a few days later. It was nearing the evening and they thought about doing a hot chocolate Sleigh Ride so they checked if there was an availability and there was only for the dinner sleigh ride. So we made reservations. It was so much fun. Beth made sure that she and Nickie were in the middle. John seemed to have eyes only for his Beth. But Nickie noticed and thought, "she knows."

While on the sleigh ride they were under a blanket. John's hands were holding hers then she felt a ring go on her finger on the right hand. He whispered, "I love you."
She nuzzled him, "I know, I love you too."
Tyler was oblivious to what was going on he had his arm around Nickie. She was cuddled up to him to stay warm. But she knew that John had given her a gift. If only she knew that the necklace around her neck was from last night. Nickie but remembered that Tyler had bought the cafe for her and had been working hard to make it work with her.
The sleigh ride was wonderful and the dinner menu was awesome

Beth quietly looked at the diamond on her finger it is a 5/8 carat with 14K yellow and gold filigree beautiful band. She loved it. Nickie loved it too.
The dinner was delicious. Tyler complimented the chef. The drive back to the cabin was nice. John and Beth started walking back to the cabin.

Tyler took Nickie down the walking path and they sat on a bench looking at the clear sky. He just held her close. Then he knelt down on one knee and asked her if she would be his wife. He held out his hand with the box in it and the beautiful diamond sitting in the box. She was overwhelmed, and didn't know what to say. She looked into his eyes and said, "Yes."
He sat back on the bench and kissed her. Then put the ring on the finger. They sat there holding each other. When they went back to the room. The night was filled with romance.
At the cabin tonight Beth came out only wearing the ring and the necklace. John said, "You have the best outfits this weekend."
She laughed, "If I had known what you were planning I wouldn't have brought any negligee's."

Saturday they woke up to a snowfall, just light and fresh snowfall. Beth put more logs on the fire and heated the water for some hot chocolate. She was remembering the hot chocolate at the restaurant she had some with Irish Cream added. It was very good. John came up from behind her. She loved him being close. She looked at the clock and it was only 0600 so he guided her back to the bed. She turned off the stove first. They got up to go to breakfast at 0730. Nickie rushed up and showed Beth the ring, "he asked me last night! I said yes!"
"Oh, I am so happy for you. When is the wedding date," Beth asked.
"Oh, we did not pick one yet. We didn't think about it yet," Nickie said laughing. She looked at John and he seemed happy for her. She thought only for a moment that he would have been upset. But she had to realize he forgot about her a long time ago when he saw Beth again. Now Nickie was going to focus on the man that loved her and would help her raise these two babies. Nickie sat with them during breakfast. Beth noticed that her face went white. So she turned around and saw Richard at the door. She looked back at Nickie,"Did you ask him here?"
"No," she said quietly. She went to the door and he asked her if they could talk. Tyler came out from the kitchen and followed them. Richard did not seem to like that but he knew already that Tyler and Nickie were lovers.

Beth turned back to John, "I am glad I am not her today."
John looked at her quizically, "When would you want to be her?"
She looked at him, "I would only have wished that when you were wanting her."
He smiled, "I only want you, and you are the only one that I really have ever wanted. Should we go back to the cabin?"
She smiled,"Yes, I have finished my breakfast."
They headed back to the cabin.
Meanwhile, Nickie, Richard, and Tyler were in the office. Richard started, "I want to know what you have decided about my baby?"
Tyler held her hand. Nickie said, "What makes you think I am having your baby?"
Richard smiled, "You know that we made love in Italy right before Christmas. I know you were off of your birth control."
"Only because you messed with my pills. You set me up to get pregnant. Do you really think I want you around my child," she lashed out.
"Well, you may not want it but I will be a part of my baby's life whether you like it or not," Richard told her. "Now, are you going to keep me informed during your pregnancy?"
Nickie looked at Tyler. He whispered to her, "Just tell him you will, and then we will get our own lawyer."
She said to Richard, "I will keep you up to date on my pregnancy. I am having twins, the other baby is Tyler's. They are not both yours. They were conceived at different times and are two weeks apart. We do not know the sexes of the babies yet. I am also marrying Tyler within the month."
Richard looked surprised, "Well, congratulations then. I am glad that you have come to your senses. I will have my lawyers draw up the agreements of what I will provide for my child after the DNA of both of the babies." He walked out of the room but not before he left his business card with all of his numbers.
Nickie looked at Tyler, "How are we going to fight him, he is rich and has good lawyers?"
"Don't worry we will make sure he only gets to visit them. John must be able to provide something of his involvement with Beth's case," said Tyler. "So we are getting married next month?"
Nickie smiled,"Well, we could get married tomorrow for all I care. I just want to be your wife."
"Then how about asking John and Beth to stay until Monday and get married then," he asked.
"I am not sure, if I want to do that this weekend. Let's think about this and talk with them," she said.

Beth and John came up for lunch. Tyler and Nickie both came over looking like they had something to tell them. Beth said to Nickie, "So how did it go with Richard?"
"He is wanting updates on the baby, and any money for the baby's care will be decided after DNA tests," responded Nickie.
Tyler spoke up, "John, is there anything we can use against his reputation or anything?"
John looked at him, "I will check with my sources and see what I can find out for you."
"Thanks," Tyler said, " Nickie says she wants to get married within the next week."
"Hey, I said the next month," she laughed, "He was wondering if you would stay until Monday for us to get a license and stand up for us when we get married."
Beth looked at John. John said, "We aren't leaving until Tuesday anyway, we will be here."
Nickie said, "We will let you know tomorrow. It just has been a busy day already," Nickie said.
Beth stood up to go to the restroom, Nickie followed. "So are you really going to marry him Monday," Beth asked her.
"I don't know. I told Richard within the next month and he just wanted to move it up. This is just going to fast for me," Nickie said.
Beth responded, "Well, we will be here if you want to do that. We could go this afternoon and get you a dress."
They went back to the table. Beth whispered to John, "Do you have anything special planned for this afternoon?"
"Nothing that we can't do this evening," he replied smiling.
Nickie said, "Okay, I guess we will get married on Monday."
Tyler leaned over and kissed her.
Nickie said, "Is it okay with you two if we go and get the dress now?"
John said, "That is fine, you two go to town and I will go back to the cabin and relax." He kissed Beth and left.
Nickie asked Beth, "It is okay, right?"
"Yes, it is and maybe I will find him something for a Valentine's gift," replied Beth.
The girls found a dress after Nickie tried on about fifty. It was a beautiful short white lace dress with long sleeves, it was lined and flowed on her not letting her tummy show but did have a v-neck which accentuated her new found cleavage.
They walked by a jewelry store, it had just what Beth wanted, she had them engraved. They went next door to get something to drink while they waited. They caught up on everything they could and planned for their Barbados trip next month, and even chatted about Switzerland with their men. Beth picked up the gifts she had bought and they headed back to the cabin and cafe.
Beth walked back to the cabin. John was napping on the bed. She slowly undressed and climbed into bed with him. She nuzzled up close.
He looked at her and smiled, "Did you have fun?"
She only nodded. He rolled over and took her breath away.
They dressed for dinner. She took one of the gifts for tonight and save the other for tomorrow morning. The waiter had the wine already on ice and the salads were on the tables. She sat down to eat. They talked and the entree arrived. He had already called in their orders. They enjoyed a quiet dinner. He brought out her gift tonight it was a beautiful 14k gold twist ankle bracelet. She loved it, she pulled out her gift. He opened it and it was cuff links, engraved with JB on both. He looked at her and smiled knowing it was John/Beth since his initials were not JB.
Tonight they took a long walk back to the cabin. When they arrived back at the cabin there was wine chilling on ice and a fire burning. Tonight she wore the necklace, ring, and ankle bracelet. She loved him so.
Valentines morning---Beth woke up and John was not in bed. She looked around and the place was quiet and empty. The door open and he was bringing in breakfast on a tray. "Good morning sunshine," he said.
The ham and cheese omelet was really good. She enjoyed all the attention he was giving her. She leaned in and asked him to wear what she gave him. He looked at her, "I can't wear cuff links while I am nude."
She laughed and handed him the other gift, "Sorry this gift."
He opened it and it was a double dog tag. The first one said, John and Beth fell in love 2005 reunited 2-15-08 married in March of 2008. The second one says, To John, my lover, my best friend, my soul mate, love , Beth. He left the room for a moment and came back wearing only the dog tags. She took his hand and pulled him towards the bed. They almost missed the reservation for their Valentine's Dinner. Nickie just laughed as they came in, "I knew you two would have a hard time making it to dinner." They just smiled.
Dinner was wonderful, roses on the table, with lit tea candles surrounding the vase. The food was magnificent, and of course the company was very loving. Beth could hardly take her eyes off her husband. He was looking healthy, relaxed, and happy. Dessert was strawberry pie with whip cream. Tonight he did not pull out any gift to give her. She put her hand on his face and kissed him telling him, "Finding you in my life again last February was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you." He leaned into kiss her. They headed back to the cabin.
Tyler and Nickie spent the evening resting after the full restaurant. Nickie put up her feet and said, "Can you believe we are going to be married tomorrow?"
Tyler said, "Seems strange, because I feel that we are already married, I love you so much." They spent their Valentine's loving each other.
When John arrived back at the cabin he brought out the last gift. She laughed, "It was a diamond bracelet that matched the necklace."
He put on the dog tags and she put on the jewelry. They enjoyed the rest of the evening together. She thought to herself, "No wonder we are not leaving until Tuesday morning."
Monday morning. Nickie and Tyler picked up the marriage license and scheduled the time for the justice of the peace. Beth was wearing a sweet flower dress that she had picked up. Nickie looked beautiful in her white lace dress, and Tyler in a suit. John was in the suit he wore out, looking very handsome, both Nickie and Beth noticed. John just hoped Nickie would look at Tyler that way, and finally she turned and did look at her soon to be husband in a very loving way. It was a quick and nice ceremony. They went out to lunch after the ceremony. They said the good byes, because they new the newly married couple would not be up in the morning when they left. Beth told Nickie to be happy and that she would see her in Barbados if not before.

John and Beth went back to the cabin to enjoy their last night. They had fun playing in the snow during the afternoon. They sent flowers and chocolates with a bottle of Champagne for Tyler to celebrate the day. They also ordered Champagne to go with their meal. They spent longer at the restaurant tonight by moving to the bar. It was actually the first time they had sat at the bar. A man tried to buy Beth a drink when John was in the restroom. He backed off when he saw John. Beth just smiled. They enjoyed their nightcap and went back to the cabin. Beth packed the clothing except for what they were wearing tomorrow to fly home.

That night the two women in separate bedrooms, showed their husbands just how much they meant to them. Nickie thought to herself, "I cannot believe I am married!" Then she went back to loving her new husband.......

Beth told John, "Thank-you for loving me, I love you so much. This has been the best time away I have had since our wedding in Rome."
John said, "I love you too. It has been my pleasure to be with you this weekend. Now let's not waste the night talking."
Beth giggled.
